Spring Break - Day 2

Today we went to the public library and Taylor had a great time. They have an early learning room for kids under 6 and there are lots of great things for Taylor to play with. We probably could have stayed there all morning and she would have been happy!!

Spring Break - Day 1

This week is my Spring Break so Taylor and I have all week together. I am trying to think of some different things to do so we don't get bored. On Monday, we finally put sand in the sand table and played outside.

Check Up

Taylor had her 12/13 month check up yesterday and all went well....except for the 3 shots! She weighs 20 lb 5 oz and is just under 29 inches tall. She is in the 25th percentile for both height and weight. The doctor was surprised she wasn't walking/standing because she was really showing off all her other gross motor skills. So, her beloved push toys have disappeared for a few days and now...

she's standing on her own!!!
(now she just needs to grow so her pants fit and she doesn't trip over them!)

Weekend

This weekend we went to Crown Point and spent Saturday with Grandma and Grandpa Larkins and family. It was so nice that we played outside!!

Then Sunday we went to Oma and Opa's for an early Easter. Here's Taylor with an egg that was full of puffs!!

I could not get a picture of her with the basket because she was distracted by the grass!

Another nice day so we went to the playground to swing.

Then Taylor got to meet a new friend, Nathan. He is about 3 weeks older than Taylor. What a gentleman to give her a ride!

And she returned the favor!

Sunglasses at Night

Taylor has really been into her sunglasses (and any other glasses) lately. She actually keeps them on for quite awhile!! She was too cute to not take pictures of!

Beautiful Weather

We have had some great days to be outside. Taylor loves pushing her baby outside and pushed it about 5 houses down to play with the neighbors. Now if she would just let go and walk without it!!! We've taken lots of walks and buggy rides and even played in the neighbors sandbox.

Spring Fever

Friday and Saturday were really nice days so we had some fun outside. Taylor really liked being out there. We took some walks/runs, played with the neighbor kids, and did some swinging!! We're hoping the weather stays this nice!!!

I Can Do It!

Taylor wanted to feed herself oatmeal the other night so we let her try! She gets so excited to get the spoon!

Hiding Out

One of my new favorite places is under the table! There are lots of things to hold on to, crawl on and under, and even chew on!!

New Wheels

Grandpa and Grandma Larkins got me this new bike for my birthday and Daddy and I finally got it put together. It can be a regular trike, a ride on trike that someone pushes, or a rocker.

I have it as a rocker right now!
