Thanksgiving

We had fun celebrating Thanksgiving with the Larkins side of the family and the Parker side of the family.  Unfortunately, Oma and Opa both had the flu :(.

All Dressed Up....

for storytime! 

This is what Taylor HAD to wear to the library yesterday for storytime (I did make her leave the sunglasses in the car).  The teacher asked her if she had dance class later and Taylor said "yep"!

 We finally got to put her rainboots to work this week.....didn't know wearing rainboots could make a kid so happy!

 And this guy can roll over from his back to his belly and hold his head high!

 It gets a little heavy though!

Pool Fun!

We spent every afternoon at the pool while we were in Florida.  Most days we were the only people in the water!  Ben took his first swim and really seemed to like it.  He would splash around a little bit and practically fell asleep in the pool each day.

 Troy built a "really big hill" (more like a mound) for Taylor on the beach.  She loved jumping off of it and having him add ramps and steps.  She had a blast on the beach this day....full of sand, head to toe!

Florida

We just spent a week in Siesta Key, Florida with Grandma and Grandpa Parker, Oma, Aunt Dodie and Uncle Andy.  We had fabulous weather....80 and sunny all week.  I have so many pictures to go through, so I'll just start with pictures of us playing on the beach.  We went down to the beach every morning and played in the sand, went for walks, and chased birds!

3 Months

Ben turned 3 months old last week while we were in Florida.  He is continuing to become much more "content" and happy.  We can make him smile pretty easily now.  He still hates his carseat/riding in the car though.  Ben is getting stronger and does a good job holding up his head.  He is also able to lift his head off the ground when he is laying on his stomach.  At night, he will go a long period of time without eating but wakes up OFTEN because he is so restless when he sleeps.

Halloween

We had a fun Halloween this year.  Both kids dressed up as doctors and Taylor went Trick-or-Treating Sunday evening.  She went to several houses around our neighborhood, but I think she liked passing out candy at our house better!
