Stats and Updates

Taylor went to the doctor on Tuesday for her 6 month appointment. She weighs 16 lbs. 12 oz. (7oth percentile) and is 26 1/4 inches long (60th percentile). She also got 5 shots, one was her first dose of the flu shot. Since Tuesday we have been battling a fever and a very runny nose! Last weekend we were swimming at Grandma and Grandpa Parker's again....Taylor figured out how to splash and loved doing it!

We are also adding more solid foods....here is Taylor's first bite of carrots. She didn't really seem to like it or disklike it, just ate what we stuck in her mouth!

6 Months Old!!!

We find it hard to believe, but Taylor is 6 months old already!!! She is really into everything that she can get to right now and of course everything goes right in the mouth. She doesn't have any teeth yet and can't quite crawl, but I have a feeling it is all going to happen fairly soon!!

A Fun Day

Mommy and Daddy took me to the park last weekend and I got to swing. It was so fun!!!!

Then I came home and jumped in my jumperoo.
After all that hard work I was thirsty so I helped myself to some of Daddy's water!

We're Off!

We are starting our move tonight!! We closed on our house today and are planning on closing on a new house Friday, August 29th. Until then we are living at our realtor's parent's house...which is empty. But, we won't have internet for a while so I'm leaving you with a couple cute pictures of Taylor playing out in the grass today.

Trying to Crawl

Taylor really wants to be on the move!!! She can get up on "all fours", but then just rocks back and forth....no crawling yet. Sometimes she'll make a big lunge for a toy, but she usually just rocks until she collapses!

You know you've had a good nap when you wake up with a pacifier mark on your forehead!!!

First White Sox Game

Taylor went to her first White Sox game on Saturday. We watched them play the Boston Red Sox. Unfortunately the White Sox lost 6-2, but we had a good time anyways!

In Other News....

Our house sold!!! But...we have to move out next weekend so we will be going to some "temporary" housing until we find a new house! So, we've been doing a lot of cleaning, throwing away, and packing! Here is Taylor modeling some hats from the Goodwill pile!!

Yes, Troy put the Boiler hat in the Goodwill pile!
Taylor is also getting good at rolling her soccer ball....maybe a future soccer star??

Lazy Weekend

This weekend we didn't have anywhere to go or anything we had to do so I.......

played in my gym

played outside with daddy
swam in grandmas pool (it was sunny)
and floated around with grandma!
