Easter Sunday

After church on Easter Sunday we went to Grandpa and Grandma Larkins' house to open easter baskets and hang out.  Taylor got a new Dora puzzle!

Easter Weekend

We spent Easter weekend in Crown Point with Troy's family.  We dyed eggs and had an egg hunt on Saturday because the weather was nice and we weren't sure it was going to be on Sunday.

She probably would have dyed them all purple had we let her!

More Spring Break...

These are the last of our Florida pictures....this is the best of the two of them that I could get.  Ben wouldn't hardly look up from digging in the sand!

 From my pictures it looks like Ben and Taylor went to the beach alone....however, Uncle Andy, Melissa, and Aunt Dodie all spent lots of time with us.  I just didn't do too good at getting them in pictures!  Andy made Taylor this big hole one day so she could make "soup".  She actually tasted the soup too!

Pool Time!

If we weren't at the beach, we were at the pool!  We had a great kiddie pool and then also a bigger pool at our condo.  We mostly stayed in the kiddie pool because Taylor could touch in parts of it, but it was also big enough to swim in and jump into.

 She had to try out the baby float!

 I think she did hundreds of "big jumps"....Grandma and I both got tired of catching her!

 Of course Benny had to get in on the jumps too!

At the Beach

We went to the beach every day while we were in Florida.  Ben LOVED the sand and the water.  No matter where I would sit him, he would work his way to the sand somehow.  He liked to sit down where the tide comes in and play in the wet sand. 

 Taylor also likes the sand!  She was always hard at work on something in the sand.  She is a little more hesitant about the water at the beach but we did get her to go in a few times.

 We even got Ben to take a few naps on the beach!

Florida

We (me, the kids, and Grandma Parker) spent spring break in Siesta Key, FL.  We had a fun time, but I am still trying to get caught up with unpacking and going through pictures!!!  Here are a couple until I get to the rest!

8 Months

Ben turned 8 months old while we were in Florida for Spring Break.  He got 4 teeth this month!!!  Just when his sleeping was pretty good he started getting teeth and is now back to his old ways.  His is finally able to roll over and uses rolling, scooting, and "the worm" to move around.  I have a feeling he will be crawling very soon.  We keep trying table foods with him, but he spits a lot of them out.  However, he did have some spaghetti and garlic bread tonight and really liked that!

Botanical Gardens

We went to the Botanical Gardens yesterday so Taylor could see and play on the Peter Pan exhibit they have right now.  They had a huge wooden boat that the kids could play on!
