One Month

Drew turned one month old this week!!!  He loves to be held and also seems to like laying on his belly.  Everyone has adjusted well to him being home and both Taylor and Ben really try to take care of him.  Ben likes to pat his back and give him his pacifier!  His umbilical cord stump is still attached so we have not been able to give him a "real" bath yet.

Taylor's Thanksgiving Feast

Taylor had her Thanksgiving program and feast at preschool today.  They sang three short songs and then we had a "feast"!  Taylor did a pretty good job and seemed to know what was going on!!!
Here are the videos of the songs (for the grandparents)...

Enjoying our feast.....vegetable soup at 9:30 a.m. :)

The Kids...

Are these two brothers or what????

(Drew on top, Ben on bottom)

Ben enjoyed his spaghetti the other night....has to do everything himself!

Taylor was making brownies (eating the batter) yesterday and when I tried to take her picture she kept making funny faces.....

 Finally a cute one!
And Ben enjoyed the brownies too!

2 Weeks

I took Drew to the doctor today for his 2 week appointment.  He weighs 8 lbs. 3 oz. and was 20 5/8 inches long (apparently he shrunk since birth).  Everything checked out great!!!
We do have to take him in to have a hip ultrasound done in the next couple weeks.  They don't think anything is wrong, but because he was breech and sitting in a funny position for 38+ weeks they check the hips to make sure everything is fine.  So, back to the hospital we'll go!!!

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween!!  Oma made Taylor and Ben's costumes and they were so cute!  Ben was "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and Taylor was the "Beautiful Butterfly".

Taylor LOVED trick-or-treating!  She ran up and down the street with a neighbor friend ringing doorbells.  She is already asking when it is Halloween again!  Ben was very content with the pack of crackers he got at our first stop and stayed in the wagon for most of the night.
 Skeleton jammies!

This poor guy had to make a trip to the pediatrician today because his umbilical cord stump started bleeding yesterday.  The doctor was able to cauterize it with some silver nitrate and the bleeding has stopped!
