More Birthday....

We spent the rest of Taylor's birthday hanging out at home and going out to eat at Bob Evan's.  Taylor got to open presents from Oma and Opa, Grandma and Grandpa Parker, and us.

She FINALLY got a Dream Lite!

We had so much fun celebrating Taylor's 5th birthday this weekend!  I can't believe she is 5 now!!! She wanted a girl's princess party at our house so we invited 6 of our neighbor girls over for a little party.  Of course all the decorations were done in pink and purple!

 We first started off by doing some crafts.  Everyone made a mirror and a candy necklace!

 Then we had a "very fancy" lunch (gown shaped PB&J, applesauce, chips, and lemonade)!

 After lunch Taylor opened presents!

 Then we had cupcakes and ice cream!

The last thing we did was have a piñata.  Taylor REALLY wanted a piñata.  I was afraid it would take the girls forever to break it open, but it didn't!  Nothing like cute little girls in princess dresses beating on a piñata!!

Taylor had a great time at her party and it was so easy!!!  The girls were so good and quiet!  I'm sure that will change in a few years!!!

Dance!

Taylor finished her second year of dance.  She did another 10 week session at the same place she went last year.  She really enjoys it!!!  They had "parent night" this week and since Troy was out of town, Grandma Parker and I went to watch.

Valentine's Day

Oma came to our house the day before Valentine's Day so I could help at Taylor's school Valentine party.  She surprised the kids with new blankets she made.  They love them!!!

On Valentine's Day we got to hang with our friends Lauren, Katelyn, and Elyse!

We made Valentine's Day floats for the "big kids".

What We've Been Doing....

 

Ben spent one morning making a glowing zoo.  He worked so hard on it and was so proud!

We did get a little bit more snow this past week so we went outside to play!

Then later in the week most of the snow melted so we went back out.  Taylor had a great time riding her bike!!

This guy is just as ornery as can be.....ALWAYS up to no good!

We had our house painted this week so one day I took the kids to Jungle George's to play.  Taylor and Ben both loved the big slide.

On Saturday I took Taylor and Ben to "cooking class" at Country Kitchen for a Valentine's Day themed class.

Playing outside today.....refuses to wear snowpants/boots but always sits right in the snow!
