Zoo Halloween

We went to the Zoo Halloween on Saturday afternoon.  Here are the two cute docs ready to go!!!

 Taylor liked the mazes and of course getting treats.  I don't think she let go of her bucket.

 And Ben had a nice long nap while we were at the zoo!

Pumpkin Patch

We spent part of last week and last weekend in Crown Point visiting Oma and Opa and Grandma and Grandpa Larkins.  Oma and I took the kids to a pumpkin patch on Thursday.  Taylor started off with a train ride....she's in the yellow car.

 Taylor was really into finding the "perfect" pumpkins....she had a unique taste in pumpkins but was very proud of her choices.  This is hers....

Big Kids!!

Ben went to the doctor on Monday for his 2 month check up.  He weighed in at 14 lbs. 7 oz. and was 25 inches long.  He is above the 95th percentile for both.

Taylor is also becoming quite the "big kid".  She has learned how to ride a bike with training wheels.  The neighbor boys are letting her borrow this "Harley Davidson" bike that they have outgrown.  She LOVES riding it!!!

Taylor is really into anything to do with music lately.  She loves listening to "her new music" in the car, playing instruments, singing, and dancing.  Here she is singing some of her favorites!  The first song is John Jacob Jingleheimerschmidt (?), the rest are pretty easy to understand.



2 Months Old

Ben is 2 months old today!!!  We go to the doctor on Monday, so I don't have any of his "stats" yet, but I'm sure he is off the charts!  He is wearing mostly 3-6 months tops and sleepers, but can still wear 0-3 month pants.  He is sleeping about 6 hours at night and is becoming more content than he used to be.  He loves the musical star on his playmat and will lay and watch it for several minutes.

Apple Pickin'

We went with our neighbors to pick apples this week. Unfortunately, it was slim pickins' as most of the apples had already been picked or had fallen off the trees.  We were able to find a few!

 If nothing else, roaming around the paths was fun!!!

Afterwards, we came back to our house to eat lunch and play.  Here are Grant and Taylor eating their "apple cupcakes"!

Last Zoo Day

 I took the kids to the zoo for our last zoo trip of the season.  We had wonderful weather and a lot of fun!  We're going to miss going to the zoo.....Taylor LOVED it this year!

Drinking out of the lion is seriously one of her favorite things about the zoo!
