Chistmas Day

We stayed at home all day Christmas Day and it was really nice not having to be anywhere.  We opened gifts at a slow pace and the kids actually got to play with things!  Ben was excited about his Little People car ramp that Santa left!

Chistmas Eve

The week before Christmas was crazy around here!  Ben came down with the flu on Wednesday and then passed it on to Troy and I on Thursday.  We both felt better pretty quick though and were able to have Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at our house.  Troy and Blake deep fried all sorts of stuff on Christmas Eve.

 We then went to church with Oma, Opa, and Blake.

Christmas With Friends

We celebrated Christmas with our friends earlier in December.  Shannon made cute snowman shirts for all the kids to wear.

2 Months Old

Drew had his 2 month appointment last week.  He weighed 12 pounds (50th) and was 22 3/8 inches (25th).  He occasionally has gone 5-6 hours at night, but is usually still getting up every 3 hours.  He likes to lay on the playmat and watch the musical star.  He seems to be smiling more and more each day, I just haven't cought it on camera yet!

Neighborhood Christmas Party

We had our "little kids" neighborhood Christmas party this week.  Twenty kids under the age of 6!!!  They made crafts, played games, had cupcakes, and then a gift exchange.  We all had a lot of fun!

Gingerbread House

December's "cooking class" was making gingerbread houses!  This class is always a favorite because of the huge spread of candy they have out!!

Holiday Fun

We went to the Leo Park last week for a night with Santa.  The kids decorated cookies, had hot chocolate, and took train rides around the park!!

 Ben was NOT a fan of Santa....we couldn't get him to stay by Santa for even a second!

Tiny Dancer

Taylor started her first dance class today!!  She was a little unsure about it, but did great once we got there and reallly liked it!  She does not even want to take her dance clothes off!!!

Drew's First Bath

Drew FINALLY got his first bath at 6 weeks of age!!!  His umbilical cord stump would not fall off and the doctor ended up having to take it off and then cauterize it again. 

 Taylor and Daddy gave Drew his bath, which he seemed to like!  Of course after 6 weeks it probably felt really good!!!
