The First of Many Christmas Posts

We spent about a week (Christmas Eve - Dec 30th) travelling around celebrating Christmas! Taylor had such a good time visiting everyone and playing with new toys. We got her a kitchen set for Christmas and gave it to her before we left. She loves it and didn't even open the couple other things we got her because she wouldn't stop playing with the kitchen.
I think her favorite part is the cash register...she knew exactly how to swipe the credit card!
Putting food in the microwave
Swiping that card again!

Christmas Break!

We started off our Christmas break by going to It's Playtime...an indoor play area. Taylor LOVED the big slides!!!
So much fun!
She also made us a picnic lunch while we were there!
Later that afternoon Taylor took it upon herself to mop the floors....about time she starts helping out!
We've also gone outside to play in the snow and had our friends over for a little Christmas party for the kids. Taylor loves her Little People airplane and backpack from Camden.

Random Pictures

Taylor really wants to go outside but it was too cold and way too windy!
She loves to put her contacts in! If you ask her if she wears contacts she will tell you "yes".
On Sunday we went and played at the YMCA in the kid's gym.
Trying the little slide.

First Snow!

We had our first dusting of snow this morning so Taylor and Grandma went outside to check it out while we were at work! She's not really thrilled with all the "snow gear".
Getting all the snow mowed up!
Even the baby liked the snow!

Three Thanksgivings

Our first Thanksgiving was at Grandma and Grandpa Larkins' house! We had lots of fun there and had a great Thanksgiving dinner too. Taylor loves Comet!
Playing with "puppy".
She also loves the goose on the porch, which she referred to as the "gook". I think she was getting duck and goose confused!
Running in the basement with Uncle Blake!
On Friday we headed to Oma and Opa's house. Taylor was kind enough to empty the entire silverware drawer for Oma.
Instead of more turkey we had homemade pizza! Oma made the dough, Blake did the sauce, and Taylor and Troy did the cheese.
Group shot!
Taylor looks like she plotting to throw the ball right at Blake!
On Sunday, we went to Grandma and Grandpa Parker's house for our last Thanksgiving. Ashton and Taylor had their own "kids table".
After naps, they decorated and ate cookies!
They both loved using the sprinkles!
After all our fun, we put up the Christmas tree at home. Taylor really didn't care about helping to decorate, but she did lay a few ornaments on some of the branches.

Another Beautiful Weekend

We had great weather again this past weekend. We were outside alot....trying to be out as much as possible before it gets too cold!
Taylor likes to play peek-a-boo around the columns.
She LOVED this stick!
She would lick the stick and then say "yummy". I know she was doing this just because I kept telling her that was yucky.
She managed to pull off the majority of our rose petals that were still there.
Stopping to smell the roses!

21 Months

Taylor is 21 months old now....she's growing up so fast! She uses a lot of 2-3 word phrases now and talks all the time. She wants to "see, see, see" everything and be right with Mommy or Daddy all the time! She has grown attached to her pink bunny since we stopped using the pacifier a month or so ago. Bunny goes everywhere! (This is "back-up" bunny in the picture because "real bunny" got in the wrong bag at the babysitters....we got it back now!)
21 months old = tantrums!
Hanging out with Daddy
Just being silly!!!

Little Artist

Taylor seems to really like "art stuff" lately. Grandma and Grandpa Larkins got her some art supplies and she has been trying them out! She likes the markers more than crayons (like all kids!).
She likes to draw on the chalkboard,
and really likes to erase!
And everyone's favorite....painting!

First Haircut

Taylor got her first haircut on Monday! She just got the ends trimmed up because they were starting to get tangles all the time. She did a pretty good job...thanks to the sucker and the sink!
She even got a certificate!

Halloween Weekend

We spent Halloween weekend in Crown Point with Troy's family. We had fun at both Grandpa and Grandma Larkins' house and Oma and Opa's house! Taylor loved using the coffee table for a slide!
We went Trick or Treating around Oma and Opa's neighborhood Saturday night. We only went to 5 houses but her bucket was full!!
The trick or treating group (and Daddy).
Taylor with all her treats!
trying to figure out paddle ball
Oma has some of Troy and Blake's old toys, so we get them out whenever we are there.
On Sunday we went to a fun "train" restaurant.
She even got to go on a little train ride! Taylor is hanging out the window of the yellow car.
Hope you had a Happy Halloween too!!!
