"Big Ben"

We went to the doctor today for Ben's 2 week check up. They are supposed to be back at their birth weight by 2 weeks and Ben was 10 lbs. 10 oz. and 23 inches long!!! He is in or above the 95th percentile for everything (including his head size).
Grandpa and Grandma Larkins came to visit. Here are 3 generations of Larkins men!
This is what Ben thought of his first real bath.
A lot of people have been asking if Ben and Taylor look alike.....check out these pictures. I think they look A LOT alike!

And just a random picture of Taylor checking out a ladybug with her magnifying glass!

One week

Big wrinkly feet!
Love the monkey on his butt!
So sleepy!
Awake! We've had some really good nights (5 hours between feedings) and some more typical nights too.
I took Taylor to Bounce Mania today with the neighbors. She liked jumping but wasn't too sure about the slides. She preferred to stand at the bottom and say, "Ready, Set, Go"!
Group slide!!

Ben's Room

I realized I haven't posted any pictures of Ben's room yet.....here they are!!! Troy's mom (Oma) made all his bedding and curtains!

More Pictures!

We came home from the hospital Wednesday evening and we are doing great! We've had LOTS of help from Grandparents, which we are very thankful for!!! Ben had a doctor's appointment today and now weighs 9 lbs. 10 oz!
Our handsome Benjamin!
Where are the extra-long bassinets????
Taylor's welcome home sign
Taylor wasn't really into Ben at the hospital but since we pulled into the garage she has been all about him!
Love this one!
Doing what I do best!
Grandma and Grandpa Parker

We had pictures taken today....check out www.lavishmemoriesphotography.com (then click to go to her blog) for a "sneak peek" of our pictures. There should be some up in the next couple of days!!

Welcome Ben!!!

Benjamin Alan Larkins was born on Monday, August 9th at 7:47 pm. He weighed in at 9 lbs. 8 oz. and is 23 inches long! He was quickly named "Big Ben" by the hospital staff! He had a little trouble "getting going" when he was first born, but is doing just great now!!

Mulch

We finally put some new mulch down (only because the neighbor had extra) and Taylor was more than happy to help!
She insisted on wearing socks with her crocs!
Following Daddy to the back.
