8 Months

Ben turned 8 months old while we were in Florida for Spring Break.  He got 4 teeth this month!!!  Just when his sleeping was pretty good he started getting teeth and is now back to his old ways.  His is finally able to roll over and uses rolling, scooting, and "the worm" to move around.  I have a feeling he will be crawling very soon.  We keep trying table foods with him, but he spits a lot of them out.  However, he did have some spaghetti and garlic bread tonight and really liked that!

Botanical Gardens

We went to the Botanical Gardens yesterday so Taylor could see and play on the Peter Pan exhibit they have right now.  They had a huge wooden boat that the kids could play on!

Cousins!

We had cousin Vladi come stay with us for a few days last week.  It was busy, but fun! Vladi is 5 months older than Ben, who looks HUGE in this picture!

 Ben had his two front bottom teeth come through this past week and FINALLY as of last night learned to roll from his back to his belly!  He wants to be mobile so bad, but can't quite get it all figured out.  We are starting to give him some table foods....pancake breakfast!

Reading

I forgot I had this video on my camera.  It is from early February and it's a short video of Taylor "reading" a Dora book to Ben.  She has so many books now that she loves to read to us or read to Ben.  It's too cute!

March Cooking Class

Our March class at Country Kitchen was "Tye-Dye Treats".  Taylor made a cookie sucker, a chocolate sucker, and a cupcake.  Here is here rainbow cookie dough "snake"...oops!

7 Months

Ben turned 7 months old this past week!  He really wants to crawl, but can't quite figure it out yet.  He is eating lots of baby food now and loves fruit and yogurt.  We are even able to get him to eat a few different veggies too.  Now we need to start trying to eat some table foods!  His sleeping is improving although he wakes up around 6:15 most days....I have a feeling he may just be an early riser.  He had a few colds this past month, but is feeling much better now and is really happy most days!

Ben LOVES his sister!  She can make him smile and laugh more than the rest of us.  Here she decided she was going to take pictures of him with the bear (excuse her self-selected outfit).  She got way more smiles than I did!
